Overhead Shutters: Advantages:

• Higher security levels compared to external ones, as the guides are installed behind the frame.
• Multiple options for raising and lowering the shutters, as it can be done manually, electrically, or even a combination of both.
• Easier maintenance and repair work as they are accessible from inside the residence.
• Improved aesthetics as they blend better with the building’s overall appearance.

Disadvantages:

• One of the main disadvantages is that their use reduces the useful height of the window since they are placed under the frame, within the wall.
• Without thermal break, overhead shutters have reduced thermal insulation properties.
